Introduction

Dark Drives is operated by Hpro Web Development Inc. This page describes what information we collect when you use darkdrives.app, why we collect it, and who it is shared with. We collect as little as the product needs.

What we collect

Purchase email. When you buy a drive, Stripe collects your email and payment details to process the charge. We receive your email and use it to deliver your access link and respond to support requests. We never see your full card number.

Access data. Your access link and a browser cookie keep you signed in to the drive you bought. We keep records of link delivery and use so we can restore access when something goes wrong. The drive also sends playback and completion events, such as when a tour or stop starts, so we can operate the product and send requested follow-up messages. These events do not include your GPS coordinates.

Site analytics and advertising. We use Google Analytics, the Meta pixel, the TikTok pixel, PostHog, and Vercel Analytics to measure our advertising and understand how people use the site. These tools receive standard event data such as pages viewed and checkout starts, and some may set cookies. You can limit ad tracking through your Meta and TikTok account settings and your browser settings.

Hosting logs. Our site runs on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs such as IP address and pages requested.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not send marketing email unless you asked for updates at checkout, and every update email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not collect or store your location. The drive uses your device's GPS on your device to know when you arrive at a stop. Your GPS coordinates are not sent to us or stored by us.

Who we share with

Stripe for payments, Meta and TikTok for advertising measurement, Google Analytics, PostHog, and Vercel Analytics for site analytics, Vercel for hosting, and Resend for sending access links. Each processes data under its own privacy policy. We share information beyond this only if the law requires it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep for tax and payment purposes. Email us and we will handle it. British Columbia and Canadian privacy law applies.
